At Shri Ganesh Engineering, we manufacture, supply and install commercial refrigeration equipment. Because most of our products are built to order and vary in size and weight, this policy explains how we handle delivery, timelines, charges and installation. Where we deliver
We deliver across India. Our workshop is in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, and we regularly serve Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Belgavi (Belgaum), Goa, Ratnagiri and the wider Konkan region, as well as other locations across the country on request.
For deliveries outside our regular service area, we use trusted transporters and logistics partners to move equipment safely to your city.
Order processing
Most of our units are made to order to match your requirements, capacity and available space. Once your order is confirmed, we begin production and share an expected dispatch and delivery date with you.
Standard or in-stock units are usually ready sooner, while custom-built units take longer to manufacture. The exact timeline is confirmed at the time of order.
Delivery timelines
Delivery timelines depend on the type of unit, whether it is a standard or custom build, your location, and current production schedules. We confirm your delivery date when your order is placed and keep you informed of the progress.
Timelines shared are estimates made in good faith. While we make every effort to meet them, delivery may occasionally be affected by factors beyond our control, such as transport delays, weather, or supply issues. In such cases, we will inform you and arrange delivery at the earliest possible date.
Delivery charges
Delivery charges depend on the size and weight of the equipment and your delivery location. Because these vary from order to order, delivery charges are confirmed as part of your quote before the order is finalised, so you know the full cost in advance with no hidden charges.
Delivery and installation
Within our regular service area (Kolhapur and the surrounding region), our own team delivers the equipment to your site and installs and commissions it for you.
For locations outside this area, equipment is delivered through our transport partners to your address. Installation and commissioning can be arranged on request, and we will let you know what is possible for your location at the time of your order.
Please make sure that:
- Someone is available at the delivery address to receive the equipment on the scheduled date.
- There is clear and safe access to the delivery point (doorways, staircases, lifts or ramps) for large units.
- The intended installation spot is ready, with the required power supply and space available.
If our team is unable to complete delivery or installation because the site is not ready or access is restricted, additional visits may be required, and any extra cost will be discussed with you in advance.
Checking your delivery
Please inspect the equipment at the time of delivery. If you notice any visible damage to the packaging or the unit, note it with the delivery person and inform us within 48 hours of receiving the goods, along with photographs. This helps us resolve any transit-related issue quickly.
We take care to pack and handle every unit properly, but reporting any damage promptly allows us to raise it with our transport partners and assist you without delay.
Rescheduling a delivery
If you need to change your delivery date, please let us know as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate the new schedule based on availability.
Warranty and after-sales service
Delivery and installation are only the beginning of our relationship. We provide after-sales service and support, and our technicians service and repair the equipment we supply. Details of any applicable warranty are shared with your order.
